Abstract

This study shows that the raft thickness is depended on foundation system, Young modulus of soil right under the raft and number of floors of superstructure, and explains very well the case of thick raft of ICC Tower, thin raft of Dubai Tower and reasonable raft thickness of Incheon Tower.
